Curvic Grind

Beacon Industries has the internal capability to produce individual components and systems that support the aerospace, defense, industrial, and commercial market spaces.

Curvic grinding is a highly specialized, unique grinding technique used to create couplings that require extreme accuracy and maximum power transfer.

Curvic couplings resemble face gears, but the teeth are curved in both the radial and axial directions. Concave and convex.

Curvic couplings mate together, creating intricate interlocking assemblies that can withstand high powered operating environments. A superior level of engineering expertise along with unique machinery are required to support the generation of Curvic couplings.

Beacon has manufactured Curvic couplings for nearly 50 years.
